From 2003 through 2017, Jason Horst operated under the name Piksl Design. In 2018 he and his wife combined all of their creative ventures under the Horst Arts umbrella. And while fine art is visually prominent in the Horst Arts offices, graphic design and web development remains the main thrust of the company.
Visual design is all about solving puzzles. It's a process of determining how to deliver a message as clearly as possible while doing so in an attractive way. Jason at Horst Arts has been doing just that for over twenty years. Whether your message is loud and bold, or soothing and elegant, Horst Arts has the experience to build your message in an appropriate and effective way.
Horst Arts can help you with most any design need: branding, brochures, flyers, catalogs, signage, illustrations, billboards, and ads of all types. And if it's web design and development you need, we are ready to help you with that as well.
Jason attended Grace College fully planning a career in math and computer programming. After one semester he switched his major to graphic design and never looked back. But that programming knowledge paid off, because the year he graduated was the year the internet took off—and websites are the ultimate combination of design and programming.
When not in front of a computer, Jason enjoys creating with his hands. Printmaking is a passion and so is wood-based fine art. Both of those effort may soon be showing up at Horst Arts.
But spending time with his family—incuding two young children—tops all work. He teaches his children there's nothing like a road trip with an unsure destination. Maybe that's why the Horst Arts endeavor is so exciting.
