Fine art finds a home in Manheim via Katherine Horst’s art studio in the storefront window of Horst Arts.

Walk by the new storefront at 17 North Main Street in Manheim and you will see Katherine Horst’s work on display. Katherine works with experimental forms via the medium of mixed media collage. She uses toned paper and found scraps as brush marks to bring forth landscapes, flower ensembles and more. Katherine would love to work with your idea to create a commissioned piece. And beyond the traditional framed artwork, she is also available for installation pieces to help promote your brand or community vibe. Local artists, stay tuned for opportunities to collaborate.

About the Horsts

Katherine Horst

Two creatives approaching art in drastically different ways team up via Horst Arts (and marriage).

Jason and Katherine Horst have been earning a living via creative endeavors since moving to Manheim in 2010. So while the Horst Arts name may be new, the services and experiences are not. One of the main reasons for opening a storefront was to be a part of the Manheim community.

Jason takes a logical, structured approach to creativity while Katherine moves freely, finding inspiration in the moment. These approaches also come into play when raising their 8-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son. Adding these two children to an already creative environment has proven to be the most challenging and rewarding collaboration of all!
