Katherine Horst, from the Pottstown, Pennsylvania area, knew from an early age that she wanted to be an artist. After completing a portfolio preparation class at Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia, she attended and graduated from Pennsylvania College of Art & Design in 2009.
After college, Katherine married and settled in Manheim. She is now working with more experimental forms, using the medium of mixed media collage. She has exhibited her collages both locally and across the country as part of solo and group shows.
When not creating—and even when she is—Katherine is the mother to a kindergartener and a toddler who are often seen covered in paint, marker, and glue.
