Memorable family activities in Lancaster County

Looking for unique family events in Lancaster County? Check out Horst Art Center. We love families and love to see them spending time together. Over the past few years, we have developed workshops that are not offered anywhere else in Lancaster County. And many of these workshops are appropriate for all ages, making them ideal for families.

If you’re in Lancaster County as a tourist or are in the area for another event and are looking for a fun family activity, we offer two solutions. First, you can check out our list of public events that you can sign up for. But if those scheduled events don’t align with your schedule, we can host a custom workshop for just your family at no additional cost, providing you have at least five participants or pay the equivalent of five participants. Please don’t hesitate to contact us even at the last minute—we may be able to accomodate your request!

And while we love hosting full families, our public workshops have proven to be especially popular with mother and daughter duos of all ages, and for grandparents desiring to create special moments with a grandchild or two.

Horst Arts Center is owned and operated by a husband and wife who are both artists. We have two little children of our own and have created experiences that we ourselves would love to do when visiting other towns.
